The first week of 30 Days Of Make-Up is done! I don't know about you, but I'm still having loads of fun trying out new looks and uploading a post every day. Today's look is bold but definitely wearable, with hot pink lips and a multicoloured glitter over brown eyeliner.
The eyes would have been fairly simple were it not for the glitter in the eyeliner, I tried to capture the way it shimmered but the camera doesn't really do it justice. It was so much prettier in real life! I made it shimmery by first applying the eyeshadow mixed with my beloved Illamasqua Sealing Gel which transformed it into a waterproof eyeliner and before it dried I quickly dusted the same eyeshadow (Shiro's Nic Cage Raking Leaves) over the line to create a lovely shimmering effect.
I wouldn't exactly call the eye make-up muted or natural, but pairing it with a strong pink lipstick (Sleek's Pout Paint in Pinkini) really pulled the whole thing together for me and made the look a bit more fun and playful.
